Let me explain better-I am NOT preggo now...I was stating that b/c the strings are up in my uterus with the IUD,there's no way for me to check to make sure the IUD is in place...therefore it could result in a suprise preg. if it falls out w/out me knowing. That sucks...plus, despite what Doc says-don't think it can be too good. I too have been having other side effects:Eating alot-esp. sweet stuff,TIRED all the time (can't get up in AM-can't stay up after I get the kids to bed in PM)also itchy skin on my legs,I had breakouts on my upper thighs and butt cheeks ;)Mild headaches every day and I have gained 6 lbs. out of nowhere in 2 weeks time. I do not have insurance now,of course,so I do not know what I am going to do!I am a single mom of 4 and I just don't think I can stand it any longer.AHHHH!

so whats going on now? did you come to the mirena forum there are more mirena problems there. my dr todd m bests just gave me lots of excuses to go home though his intern, i didnt want to go home with the pain and discomfort. BAD DOCTORS! the intern leaves me in the stirrups agaist my wishes to remove all the clamps and things and exits the room. todd m beste comes in does not introduce himself, or wash his hands or put on gloves. he just started jabbing in my uterus with the thing called a hook. i statted screaming til he stopped and then he says well maybe thats a reason to keep it. i never even say his face. i had to find his name on my records after 3 days of being ignored by the facility. i had lost 20lbs in 3 days because he caused so much swelling that i could not eat or drink or sleep. i had to goggle him just to see the man that did all the trauma to me. people have bad days all i wanted was an apology. the board of medicine said he did nothing wrong. thats his picture on the right
