And I've read a couple different places that a filling material using hydroxyapetite, the same basic composition as our own teeth, was close to being released but it "mysteriously" disappeared...hmmm.

Scientists at U of Michigan have synthesized bioidentical human enamel. It should be ready to use for fillings and crowns in a year or two and then we wont have to worry about being poisoned by our dental work.
