Sounds like the vaccine gave you the exact symptoms of hep b itself. As I have had acute hep b myself (it was only acute, thank goodness) I know the symptoms. ITs horrible.

I would definitely treat your liver with some good herbs for a while to help it. Milk thistle, some beets, herbal teas, juicing, maybe go to the health food store and ask them for some herbs for your liver for a little while. and watch your alcohol for a while. Pretty hard on the liver if it is sick.

Maybe even a liver cleanse. Hannah kroeger version - Apple juice for two days straight - starting at 8 in the morning - 8 0z after that every two hours until 8 pm 16 oz of apple juice (only organic of course) . On the second night, take 1/4th cup of extra virgin olive oil. Drink it down. It will help cleanse your liver bile duct. your liver needs some extra special care right now. Be prepared, green stuff will come out. Yuck. I came down with hep b years ago while living in NYC. I am not sure how I got it but since there are a number of ways to get it, it could have been anything. Hep b is soooo easy to get. Anyways, although I am now immune to the virus for ever, I have been told my liver is somewhat scarred. This is a serious virus. My advice is to help your liver regain its strength.

supplements and a cleanse, that is my advice.

Hi Laura. I too am a first year nursing student. I haven't had the Heb B vaccine, even though I have been told that I 'should' have it, that it could affect my placement and possibly mean I must leave the course. I've just refused to have the vaccine and haven't heard anything yet about being chucked off the course.

I hope you recover your health and I agree with you that no career is worth damaging our health for.

Other than this Hep B vaccine, I am loving every minute of this nursing course. It's a great profession and the people in it are mostly wonderful.

I also work in a hospital and was recently crippled by the Hep B vaccine. I was so ignorant and trusting that it took 3 shots to connect the dots--why I had been so sick all the time since the first 2 shots.

The third shot almost killed me. The hospital people of course deny the (completely obvious) link between my injuries and their vaccine, and have implied that if I have health problems, then perhaps I am not fit enough to do my job.

It has been 2 months since the third shot, and I still have dizziness, ear aches, headaches, fevers, swollen face, and bad pain in my joints. The pain has moved from my knees to-hips and ankles, etc...

I have been on a special diet for several months: no grains, no Sugar or booze (of course), only organic farm-raised meats and vegetables, and a few fruits. This diet is not producing the extreme health benefits that is has always done in the past. I have lost 40 pounds, yet I feel much heavier than before.

I came to this forum in the hopes of hearing any kind of advice for getting better. Is this crippling always permanent? I fear doctors, now; not only do I assume they will try to fight the poison with still more poison, but I live in a small town in a small state, and I fear the hospital where I work.

Does anyone have any advice at all?
