I know I posted before saying that vitamin E has been working for me, and a few people replied saying that it made their condition worse. Remember how I said I didn't have my bottom lip affected? Well ... yeah. It is now. I'm trying to still stay positive but it's getting harder. Thanks for letting me know about the vitamin E... That totally sucks. I thought I found something. WHY does it have to make it worse? Does anybody have any positive effects from it? It just seems that it's a miracle cure for dry lips and it may be temporarily, but I really think it was a factor that led to my bottom lip becoming affected.
My questions:
1) Any moisturizers out there that work, with no negative or aggravating effects?
2) Does anybody use L-Lysine? Any positive effects with it? I have 1,000 MG pills and I have been taking it twice a day. I have always been using a special pill strictly for lip health which contains L-Lysine. Does L-Lysine cream work, or should I avoid that?
3) I heard something about Omega-6 fish oil pills. I have been taking those. Anyone notice any positive effects?
4) Anybody know anything about Burt's Beeswax? SHOULD I avoid this?
Right now my bottom lip seems as though it only has a mild case of EC. Any other advice that could help me prevent it from spreading or becoming more severe would be SO appreciated.
Anything else would be great, I appreciate all the help I've gotten so far. I'm going on my one month anniversary since I acquired this strange condition and I'm trying to not let it affect my life, I have an amazing social life and I at times almost wanted to cut all contact with everyone. That would NOT be good.
Stay up guys! Life's too great to let shit like this affect us.
