hi, first of all I highly suggest you not to go fruitarian with zero greens for more than 1 month, you might end up lacking minerals. You should AT LEAST add some green smoothie with spinach pr romaine, or
Celery juice, cucumbers and such.
Second, I would not do the oil or avocado thing , mixing large amounts of fruit with fats is suicide. 99% of the people who do so will get candida overgrowth very quickly. the fat keeps the blood
Sugar levels too high and candida jumps in and thrives.
if you choose the mostly fruitarian approach then you should avoid eating more than 15-20% of your calories from fat. this is a very small amount of fat indeed, a small avocado or 2-3 tbsp oil a day.
if you want to have lots of fat instead, you must eat mainly greens, and little fruit.
there are 2 different valuable raw food approaches, the fruit-lowfat approach from dr. Graham and the veggie-fat approach from dr. Cousens. if you are trying to gain weight, you should try the latter. fruit is good for cleansing and vegetables are good for building is what i've heard.
You might also want to look into sequential eating, some foods are never to be mixed for oprimal health, and must be eaten in the correct order.
I am underweight and trying to gain some back after my 1st year as a raw foodist. I have been through fruitarianism as well, and could not stop losing weight! please be wise and do some research on your own to back up your choices!
raw vegan diet is NOT easy and NOT a do it yourself diet, and I am not even 100% that it can be right for everyone.
good luck!
