each drop of the Lugols is approx 6.25 mg. each iodoral pill is 12.5 mg so two drops of Lugols is equivalent to one pill.

everyone on here is taking different dosages depending on how much detox they are getting. i am currently taking two drops in the morning and two more in the afternoon so i am at 25 mg total and i am working my way towards 50 mg.

i can't tell you how much to take cause only u will know that by listening to your own body. good luck!

Three the third

When I got to four drops twice daily the fourth week, I got backed up in the colon and had a very powerful headache of which I couldn't get rid of.

Had to take castor oil (1 tablespoon), and flushed my headache away six hours later. The next morning I did a salt-water cleanse and felt much better.

I just wanted to tell you that the detoxified Iodine (if THIS STUFF is what you are taking) is VERY powerful!!!!!

It is "only" 200mcg per drop, less than lugol's...but it is made differently, and is highly absorbable and recognizable to the body. My husband had such a bad detox reaction also (very painful lymph node under his arm) that he STILL won't get back on the Iodine even though his lymph node is back to normal.

I try not to let it upset me, but when it comes to pain he is terribly intolerant. I want him to go back on...and he says he will...but he hasn't yet and it's been over a month now. aarrgghh. He has MANY more problems than I have, including diabetes type 2. oh well...he's a big boy...(I keep trying to tell myself that). *sigh*
