Hiya, Tooldeal, I think we are on the same page with liver flushes!
First, taking this for 14 days - well, I imagine you'll get a lot of gravel along with a few big ones. I did prep for 12 days before one flush over the Christmas holidays (plans kept changing) and that was my experience - lots of tiny stones, fragments, squishy stones, toxins and 3 bms that produced some kind of black cloudy liquid substance I've never seen before or since - presumably toxic. I'm curious to see your results!
My rationale for
Liver Flushing is more sweeping, I guess. Topping the list is allergies, migraines, and arthritus. Next, whole-body detoxing, beginning at the organ level and expanding to the tissue level as the various organs cleanse. Finally, reduction of the strain on organs, especially the liver and pancreas, with future toxins being absorbed due to normal metabolism. Both my biological parents are diabetic, and my mother had her gallbladder out and then had a wide variety of health issues crop up later, which might have resulted partly from the loss of her gallbladder and also from lifestyle choices. I lost my gallbladder in my early 20s due to repeated gallbladder attacks and gallbladder disease, and see the road ahead of me if I don't take responsibility for my health. In addition to this, I hope to address the psychological, emotional and spiritual issues which predispose me to developing
liver stones in the first place, as well as predisposing me to develop other health issues which I might not be aware of yet and/or might be developing over the years ahead.
But, to answer your question: I have done 16 flushes (similar to you) so far and I have seen improvements. Migraines have reduced in severity and frequency by about 40%,
Arthritis has reduced in my hands by about 50%, and allergies have reduced in frequency and severity by about 70%. Most days, I forget that I have allergies, and I would say that the improvement is higher, but when they do bother me, they are quite strong for a few days.
The improvement is gradual, and sometimes I experience the old symptoms again (migraines, allergies or arthritis, or a combination of them) in the cycles between flushes. It does seem to be like peeling an onion. And sometimes toxins from deep inside the liver - possibly moving out of the tissues to become new stones - get lodged in places recently vacated by other stones, and so the original symptoms return suddenly for a cycle or two between flushes. At least, that's my guess as to why this happens.
It might be of interest to you that I have noticed allergies (environmental - mold being the worst, industrial glue, some kinds of evergreens, especially cedar, and aged grass clippings) seem directly related to kidney health - if my kidneys are suffering, my allergies flare up immediately. I'd never noticed this connection before doing liver flushes, maybe because I'm free of allergies most of the time and so have a chance to see what conditions trigger them.
I think everyone responds to
Liver Flushes differently. Whether or not you produce stones, obvious toxins, or garbage-ridden stale bile, other factors are also involved in how quickly and thoroughly your body responds to liver flushes. I think genetics, diet, environmental pollutants (including petroleum products like plastic and artificial fibers, and combustion, all of which are also in your home), the congested/toxic state of all your organs and tissues together and singlely, the level of toxins you started with, your methods of detoxing following flushes, and your psychological/emotional/mental/spiritual state all combine in various ways to alter how well your body responds to liver flushing. That is why no two flushes are the same, even within the same person using the same exact preparation and methods each time.
I think we are blessed to be alive, to know our own existence, to have the ability to share with other people and other beings which exist; we have the opportunity to learn about all of this and to grow and expand if we choose to do so, or not, if we choose not to! It's our choice. Isn't this a wonderful adventure?
I believe that you are on the right track, and you will see results eventually! If you want to email me, I'd be delighted to correspond directly with you.
Take care, and flush on!
