if you are wanting only fillings replaced (not crowns and bridges), there is a cheaper biocompatibility test for filling material only. keep in mind that diamondcrown and diamondlite are very compatible with the general public and rarely is there a problem. if you want to know what things to avoid when getting fillings, type in my search box white fillings, as i have made a post about them. i would not be overly concerned of filling toxicity as long as you know what to avoid, and if you are a person who is sensitive to everything, then i would get the biocompatibility test. instructions are on my FAQs page on my website if you need them.
as far as filling your other cavities, it depends on how big they are. some dentists do not like to fill small cavities and wait until they are bigger to ensure the filling sticks well. if your cavities are small, you can wait on filling them as long as you keep an eye on them so they don't get bigger and cause pain. i recommend you get a good biological toothpaste like Neydent. you have to order it and it is imported from germany. it can repair small cavities. i also recommend you use and ionic toothbrush (not sonic), as it repels plaque with negative ions.
you are correct in being skeptical of dentists, as the people who see dentists the most, have the least amount of teeth. just become well informed and i always recommend you go to a biologic dentist. you have to be careful of them, too, because their intentions are not always pure, either, but getting rid of regular dentists is a good step if you want to try getting the least toxic products put in your mouth.
