I still say no,whether I like it or not...
It is so tough once your jaw gets flappin',huh?
No worries, your body will process toxins /junk food better now...
keep drinking lemon and cayenne...
and of course waddah,as you know...
If you are in need of a 'fix', here's what I do...
If I am craving ,say- a cookie, I google or look in a cook book at recipes , then after that ,if I still want it, I make it myself.
replace white flour w/whole wheat pastry flour, eggs w/baking powder/tapioca starch, milk w/soy milk,
Sugar w/maple(less milk then),choc chips ,I use fresh Hawaiian cocoa or natural dairy free chips...,etc....
it is sooooooo easy to eat well...and sometimes trial and error make the best scones!
9 times out of ten , you blow it off after researching and / or just visualizing the motions...killing the 3 minutes of craving by putting your mind somewhere else.
I try to put my mind to where I would be after I 'didn't' eat the cookie.
Then my other take is that if you are really craving something,then maybe your body is actually trying to tell you it needs something ... in that case revert to plan A and make it yourself.
Though sometimes we just want to chew...so grab a carrot while you look at recipes.
I stay away from buying any thing packaged like cookies that come in pound bags or the like, for they would have the same disclaimer as Lay's potato chips...
"BET YOU CAN'T EAT JUST ONE!!!" Yet there is nothing wrong with treating yourself!
You know what's good for you...sometimes no treat=treating yourself right.
A couple of tricks that work for me to remind me of the control I had while on the mc and 'to hold that thought' is to start my day with a
quart of water, drink lemonade(usually without maple to keep the ph in check:

Keeping up with part of the ritual really helps me to stay in line. Also ensures
that I start my day with a good chunk of my daily h2o requirements while warding off hunger...Stanley says no breakfast...I agree w/him.
As for the cayenne and lemon...I am a firm advocate of cayenne to keep the colon clean and other groovy things and the lemon gives me my 'C' for the day...alkalize!
My cleanse this time has proven no major klingons this time, and I attribute part of that to the aforementiond.

I'm on day 5 and yes they sound good! White chocolate Macadamia, just a tad of
cocoanut, a glass of cold soymilk...hell ,chocolate soy milk, a bowl of popcorn,
som....
nahhhh...just a vision of a nice beach,gentle waves of blue azure tapping the fluffy white sand on my feet, half naked wahines, a whale breaching on the horizon, the salt air blowing on my face and the sun warming my skin....that's good enough for me!
Screw the yard work...I'm off...
