A couple of those books are pure garbage. And, you didn't include the very best book available written by a doctor who is a Type I diabetic and controls his diabetes without insulin!
That book is: "Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution: The Complete Guide to Achieving Normal Blood Sugars"
By following that book I control my Type II diabetes without medications of any kind.
"A couple of those books are pure garbage. And, you didn't include the very best book available written by a doctor (i.e., Bernstein) who is a Type I diabetic and controls his diabetes without insulin!"
I was corrected on this item by a Cure Zone reader. I have three of Bernstein's books and I swear that in them I read that he controlled his Type I without insulin. He doesn't. In an inquiry to his web site I was told that he uses "small amounts" of insulin, and that all Type I diabetics do so. He is now about 75 years old and has outlived the 'normal' Type I lifespan.
"there are people who said that their diabetes was cured by taking apple cider vinegar. check out earthclinic.com"
You don't cure diabetes, but you can control it. Everything I see there appears to be Type II.
I take a minimum of 4 ounces of ACV a day, and at times it will bring down my glucose levels, but it doesn't control the overall diabetes by itself. I am able to control it though with diet.
"i don't think you will ever cure your diabetes
with that kind of thinking that is so closed minded. there are many thousands
who have been cured. do your own research.
little knowledge is indeed little. you only want to control it - why ?
why stop there? is there no cure ? i personally know 13 people who cured
diabetes
through cleansing, purging, diet and exercise. so that is my proof. you can look
for your own or you can control it forever and ever."
Like I asked you before, name just one who has been 'cured' - and it must be verified before and after by a physician.
I control my diabetes without medications, with diet alone. I stay within the normal limits of the a1C and blood glucose levels, but I am not cured.
"Death to Diabetes by DeWayne McCully"
I own the book. And it is pure BS.
"Halt Type 2 Diabetes in 25 days Guaranteed by Mike Adams"
I don't believe it. You may control it, but you are not cured. No
one is. And, still no names have been given of anyone being cured. I
require an MD before and after certification too.
"Hmmm, I see there is no point in discussing this
matter with you since you belong to the "there is no cure for
diabetes" religion. Placebo effect of the negative kind.
By golly, there are tons of other people "controlling" their diabetes
wonderfully until the day they die. If this is the way you see things. Fine by
me."
First, are you diabetic? Are you cured? Or are you just telling others how to live their life with no first hand experience?
Controlling and curing are two different things. I have no problem controlling my diabetes without medication of any kind. I do it by diet, and I have done it for a long time. However, all I have to do is eat carbohydrates such as oatmeal, a potato, or pasta, (all worse than ice cream or candy for raising my blood sugar) and I'm out of control. Like I said, I can control my diabetes and I do. So, am I cured? Or am I simply in control?
"It seems to me that your definition of being cured is only WHEN you personally are able to consume oatmeal, potato and pasta and it benefits your health."
You still haven't indicated whether or not you yourself have diabetes. By not answering that question it is very apparent that you run around solving everyone else's problems. Talk about religion, that's a common one.
Haven't you been taught that oatmeal and potatoes are healthy foods? Don't you think that people should be able to eat them? I ate both of them for years without any ill effects, but now I can't. It's because I'm diabetic and I recognize my limitations. I am in control of my diabetes, but I have not cured it. And until a diabetic is able to eat these very things without massive swings in glucose levels, they are not cured.
By the way, I'm under the direction of an internationally recognized diabetes research and treatment clinic which has numerous doctors, as in MDs, and am following their program. It works for me and it is working for hundreds of others as well.
Again, until you answer the question as to whether or not you are a diabetic, you shouldn't even be posting on this board.
There's another book that's great for type 2 diabetics. but, my friend who is a Type 1 also uses it. It's called "Death to Diabetes -- The 6 Stages of Type 2 Diabetes Control & Reversal".
