I am like you. I don't like the feeling of having foundation, powder or liquid on my facial skin. I also use MAC Bisque (brown) eyeshadow for my eyebrows and eyeliner. For mascara I use the color "maroon" by NYC because I have heard that reds near the eyes make your eyes go POP!! :P Works for me! lol. I also Almay concealer (the kind with the wand applicator) under my eyes and around my nose. For blush, I use NYC berry blush and apply it only to the apples of my cheeks. I use NYC lipstick #337A...it is a nice, natural color and for less than a buck you can't top that :)

I have always been a big makeup person, I worked in beauty salons for about 20 years. I used Mary Kay for the last 5 years or so and only recently, this summer, switched my cleanser and moisturizer to olive oil and coconut/almond oil mix.

I use a mascara from the whole foods mkt that is not too exciting, it is the first more natural mascara I have tried. I still use the mary kay solid foundation when I go out. I will probably not buy more when I run out but for now I use it, usually 4 times a week. I also still use their blush and eyeshadow. I loved mary kay products but feel that natural will be better. I am usually big on throwing everything out and starting over but I just can't afford to replace everything.

I have read some suggestions for alternatives but mostly they have to be ordered on line and I like to see and try before I buy. I will replace everything eventually though, I may even try to make my own!
