i had an 3rd molar extracted and wasn't extracted properly and yes the Dr. did put a hole in my sinus last September and has been negligent to help me, i went back with a sinus infection right after it got infected, they denied it. i have proof in the cat scans i got from my ent. He also left me a root to rot, so the infection had plenty of food from my mouth. the a**ho** says he wont help me until the ENT prob does whatever or a sinus surgery, they are all a**ho**s. i hope they die. Crooks the Dentists, the oral surgeons and the ENTs of Morris county NJ should rot in hell as far as im concerned. So I got a extraction with bad closure and an infection since last October and 2 ent visits and a second visit to the oral surgeon, he takes out the the part he left behind now that his blunder was partially healed. I saw him recently after i saw my lawyer. I will see what the ent says, I dont think a sinus surgery can help me much, if it went it away after a surgery i will clap hands and eat my words, but i have big doubts. at least the pain went down some at the end of the year, the feeling and loss will never be the same though. i still feel like something is missing in my mouth and also it throbs a little, i just want to get better its not about the money, but these f***ers should pay for what they have done to me. damned rich people!

Sounds like you now have sinus issues related to that hole in your sinus cavity.

When I ended up with a hole in my sinus after an extraction I went ahead and took their anti-biotics to prevent a possible infection. I also sprayed Colloidal Siver up my nose. I haven't had any issues and I assume everything healed up. You might have to see a sinus specialist. Have you tried Colloidal Silver ?

I still have a large hole leading to my sinus from a impacted wisdom tooth. It has been about 2 years, and after a dozen times of the dentist trying to stitch it, then pulled a flap over and stitched, then used a piece of tissue and bone and stitched it, etc etc...nothing worked...it never closed and it healed open. I have constant sinus infections, as well as disgusting infected drainage in my mouth that tastes like something died in your mouth. It is horrible. I have no suction, and have to constantly clean and remove food to avoid going further into my sinus. My dentist has been giving me the run around I am sure because he did something wrong. After doing all of these procedures he finally says, well you can either go to an oral surgeon I know but you would have to drive 3 hours to his office, or I can try it one last time because he sent me a video on how to do it...I'm thinking really? After all of these times you have stitched it, then it heals and you cut it open again and again now you tell me you had no idea what you were doing and yea like I want you to do the procedure after watching a video knowing you have never done it before! He tells me this oral surgeon is a friend of his..now I know something is shady..I didn't even think to contact a lawyer..I have just dealt with it unfortunately, but I thought I was the only one dealing with this. I hate the numb and painful feeling I still get if I bite down on something hard, or try to brush. It even makes me talk, breathe, sing, all of the above differently. My family keeps telling me I can die from this, if I leave it open with all of the infections, but I really do not want to go through that pain again, not being able to talk or eat etc because at this point I have no faith in anyone healing it. Also how do they expect people not to sneeze? This is part of healing they tell you to avoid but really who can stop a sneeze?

I had a tooth extracted back in September 2015. When The dentist realized the roots of the tooth were into the nasal cavity he just stopped. He said he wasn't sure there was a hole (but I was). He left part of the tooth when he realized it was into the nasal cavity. It has sealed some but there is still a hole. Now the tooth that was left is coming through my gum. I can feel the razor sharp edges as if I were teething. Very Small bits have even broken off. I went back twice and the last time he gave me more Antibiotics and trimmed my partial so the tooth didn't hurt as much. Now I have a hard time keeping my partial in. PLEASE someone give me advise on what to do next. I'm going back next week and I'm afraid he will want to reopen the gum and remove the remaining tooth material. That sounds logical but I'm afraid it will open the hole bigger. Thanks for any advise! Btw I couldn't find silver here in my small town.
