I have been passionately researching the effects of mold on the human body for the past five years, after a toxic mold exposure devastated my health. I have used an ozone generator at various levels. On a kill zone setting for 72 hours to kill surface molds. You can NOT be in the home when you do that! It is toxic at those levels. I have left it on the lowest setting within my home to increase the ozone level but, undecided as to it's benefit. My doctor, Dr. Marinkovich in Redwood City, California is one of the best mold exposure practitionors in the country. He does not like leaving the ozone generator on on a continual basis. The idea of adding humidity to the air in any form is counter to all my research. Mold needs three things to grow; heat, moisture and biological material. We are definitely biological. To prevent mold growth in your home you should have a DE-humidifier bringing the humidity level down below 50% humidity. Most molds can not grow in humidities under 50%. The only place you want to add moisture is by drinking a lot of GOOD water. The O part of the H2O is oxygen. It is one of the two ways your body gets the oxygen the cells and tissues need to stay generative, and prevent them from dying. Mold sucks the moisture out of your body for it's own use and survival. This dehydrates your body leading to the effects of under-hydration/dehydration. Usually it is first noticed with drying/cracking hands, drying/sensitization of the scalp and skin. For the ears; using ear candling to remove the excess ear wax oversaturated with mold spores it has captured, solves the ear problems. Afterwards I put drops of hydrogen peroxide in the ears for 10-20 minutes. A little while later I rinse the ears and put some drops of pure aloe from a aloe leaf in the ears to sooth them. You may need to put a little cotton in the ear for a few days while they adjust to the new clarity. Mold is non-chlorophyll in nature. So saturating your body with chlorophyll or chlorophyllin creates an atmoasphere unfriendly to mold. Chlorophyll makes things like plants, trees and people grow/generate. The job of mold is to decompose(compost piles), degenerate and break down ALL biological material to their basic elements, and return them to Mother Nature, from whence they came. They do not like chlorophyll and chlorophyllin.
