my husband has been on Minocycline for 8 months now, he recently stopped because his liver panels came back slightly elevated and I finally was able to talk him into not taking the med anymore to see if his liver panels stabalize. anyway, his Acne has come back full force...he has read the info on prolonged use of systemic Antibiotics , so he does NOT want to start the minocycline again...thank god, but we're at a loss of what to do next. topical meds have not worked in the past, I have done Colon Cleanses before, Dr. Naturas, and liked it, but it is hard for me to get him to commit to these. I think he will if he really thinks a Colon Cleanse will help clear things up, does anybody have any experience with Colon Cleanses helping clear inflammatory acne? any help or info would be apprecitated. i know a liver cleanse would definately help, but he's never done a Colon Cleanse before, so we need to start there....any feedback would be great! thanks so much!
