Sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time!
You could try mixing up the ingredients a little and see if that helps your situation.
-You can use blackstrap molasses instead of maple syrup. It has a very strong flavor and I personally don't like it as part of the drink.
-You could also try using limes instead of lemons and see if your stomach handles that better.
-Also, the cayenne could be what is causing your sickness. Just put a little sprinkle of cayenne in for the first couple days of the fast. Once you are through the roughest part (first 3-5 days), then you can start upping the cayenne to the recommended 1/10 tsp or even more. I typically use 1/4 tsp per glass, but I always start out with just a pinch until my headaches and nauseau are gone.
Soaking your feet in hot water and
Epsom Salts will help a headache. Also, a detox bath (ACV,
Epsom Salts , baking soda). Be careful standing up after you've been in a detox bath for a while. You can become lightheaded.
Ginger tea or mint tea can help settle your stomach.
If none of these things work, then you can always do a juice fast. It will still help you to detox.
Good luck to you!
