No, I don't get acid reflux with my IBS bloating. I used to have acid reflux, and later developed IBS bloating... but not together. I think I got rid of it [reflux] by not drinking alcohol, avoiding anti-biotics completely [I refused to fill the many anti-biiotic prescriptions I was given over the years, and never got an infection my body did not handle, by the way]. Avoiding high carb foods helps, as does avoiding sugars [ use only honey for awhile].
Antibiotics recently? Or ever? your "good bacteria" may not have re-started. That CAN cause the acid reflux to occur, I believe [strongly].
I am surpised that the acid from lemons is not helping, and actually making it worse. Perplexing, I feel sorry for you. The real "acid test" acid test is vinegar, but if acid makes it worse be prepared if you try vinegar as a test, but it may be worth it just to see for sure. A tablspoon will do and you will know in 5 minutes.
Also, Vit C is acidic, try that instead of vinegar. It has the effect of stimulating immune systems, but also does acidifying the gut so bacteria cannot thrive, which is esp good for bladder infections. If this also makes you worse, I suppose the solution might be to alkinise yourself, but I don't think thats a good idea all the time, but some people do think so.
you are drining lots of water, so thats the best. I hope you find your answers, I guess i didn't offer any solutions. Sorry.
