There are also resources in there to help you better understand the importance of vaginal pH and the delicate balance of the flora and why modern medicine fails to correct these bacterial imbalance issues.
I used vitamin c and it woked for me, a girl who read the blog also used the vitamin c and reported that it worked well for her as well. I used an uncoated tablet - swallowable, not chewable - and inserted it at bedtime. There is some discharge as the vitamin c tablet dissolves but it isn't bothersome. Sometimes, if the vaginal odor is very strong it takes a couple days for the odor to go away. I have been using vitamin c like this to help re-build the natural flora after my doctors had me on
Antibiotics for about 2 years (you can read about all that in the blog) I do, however, agree with Ev's comment regarding proper diet - especially probiotics to help replace the intestinal and vaginal "helpful bacteria", mainly lactobacillus. I will stress though, that the important strains of lactobacillus are the ones that produce hydrogen peroxide - and so far those have not been bottled and sold.
The body works as a whole system so an imbalance in one area is directly affected by and directly affects other areas like your digestive system - a whole body approach is the best approach - in this day and age there is no "quick fix" to good health, no pill you can take to fix it all. Sometimes it requires a whole lifestyle change to maintain good health in all your body's systems.
