After MH responded to my last message I did some research. This is what I found.
How much to take
Vitamin C
1,000 mg 3 times a day.
Reduce dose if diarrhea develops.
Lipotropic combination
1 or 2 pills twice a day.
Need 250 mg milk thistle (take extra if needed); may also include choline, inositol, methionine, and dandelion.
Taurine
1,000 mg L -taurine twice a day for up to 3 months.
After 6 weeks, add a mixed amino acid complex.
Lecithin
2 capsules of 19 grains (1,200 mg) each twice a day.
Or 2 tsp granular form twice a day before meals.
Flaxseed oil
1 tbsp (14 grams) a day in liquid or pill form.
Can be mixed with food; take in the morning.
Peppermint oil
2 capsules (containing 0.2 ml of oil each) twice a day.
Buy enteric-coated capsules. Take between meals.
Psyllium
1 tbsp powder dissolved in water or juice twice a day.
Be sure to drink extra water throughout the day.
I found this information on this website. It is very interesting. Maybe this way is better than malic acid, gold coin grass and all of the other ways of breaking down gallstones combined to cause the best flushes.

Lecithin is the best also. Not sure all that other stuff is needed. If you take a few drops of peppermint oil a day, a capsule of lecithin with meals with fat and/or animal protein, and take a 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, not sure why you'd need all the other stuff (if you are trying to break down stones and maximize your flushes).- Re: You can buy pure peppermint oil ... recovering

This is a reply to # 714,325I have taken Gold Coin Grass, Chinese Bitters, Coptis, Curcuma, etc....(not all at once!). But over time.
I do think that Gold Coin Grass is superior to anything out there, even malic acid, in breaking down stones. However, I do think that malic acid in apple cider vinegar works awesome as well, but not as QUICKLY as GCG does.
I have turned into a huge proponent of peppermint oil for bile flow. I took Coptis for many months but people started raving about peppermint oil and I got some and found that as little as 5-6 drops per day under the tongue was amazing for bile flow; just as good if not better than Coptis and a small fraction of the price.
Lecithin seems to virtually keep me stone free. I'm a huge proponent of it!!!
I guess I found that the aforementioned herbs were fantastic while I was flushing. However, now that I'm stone free, peppermint oil and lecithin seem to do the job at keeping me that way.
So to summarize, I think that GCG is the way to go if you are seriously trying to break stones down, along with apple cider vinegar (Bragg's only, of course). Peppermint oil in place of Coptis (that's NOT the extract in the baking section btw!), and lecithin in place of all those other vitamins (not that there's anything wrong with all those supplements, but that can be very expensive for the average person to maintain over a long time!) should do the trick for the average person imho.- Edited little+gina

This is a reply to # 714,3841 capsule with animal protein or fat meal. You can take 2-3 tablespoons of ACV per day (mix with juice or whatever), but be sure to only use Bragg's.

It is a pretty easy exercise so I started doing it while I was reading. I was on the verge of GB attack all evening and thought this might help.
WELL!!! As soon as I started the bile started gurgling and pumping and flowing!! I did the breathing for about 15 minutes and by the time I finished nearly all the pressure and pain was gone, and I slept all the way through the night, which I wasn't expecting to do!!!
I am very pleased with these results and thought I would share them with you guys, because GB pain sucks!!
The exercise is as follows.
You are meant to sit upright in lotus or half lotus position (I didn't do this last night, but I'm sure it would be better to)
Stick you tongue out and make a loop with it, so it is like breathing through a straw (U-shaped).
Inhale through the straw shape of tongue making as much breathing (sucking in air) noise as possible, smoothly and slowly and into your stomach, not just high up in your lungs. Then smoothly exhale through your nostrils and let the exhalation take twice as long as the inhalation. Then do the next cycle with no cath up breaths in between, just continue the cycle.
I hope this makes sense I have written it off the top of my head, not from the book.

This is a reply to # 714,366There is a YOgi in India called Swami Ramdevji who has been holding mass Yoga classes where more than 10 thousand people come and practise yoga and get cured of many diseases in 10-15 days. I have a VCD of his showing various Pranayam and Yoga exercises. I have been following his Pranayam exercises and it has increased my stamina. I do the Bhastrika, KapalBhati, Anulon-Vilom, Bhamri pranayams. With practice, you will become proficient in these and be able to do them longer.

This is a reply to # 714,422I have heard of Swami Ramdevji, but never knew much about his practice, he sounds great from what you are saying.
I used to do pranayam everyday, but life changed a bit and I lost my routine! :(
I think I will start to get back into it again. The one I described yesterday was Sitali pranayama, I had never done it (or heard of it) before, but I used to do all the ones you describe, and a couple of others I never knew the names of that my yoga teacher taught me. They were variations on Anulom-Vilom.
Since my yoga teacher left town, I have been very lazy about things, I wish he was still here! I don't really trust any of the others I have seen here.
