Thanks for the links, Violet. I have been giving some thoughts to post-fast eating. In fact, I think I'm going to want a coming-off-the-fast buddy. ;) Regarding the carb charts, tell me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that that may not be subtracting out the fiber? There used to be great little charts to print out on the official Atkins website, but I can't find them anymore. When the time to go off the fast comes closer, I'll do some more research. I'll also have to find myself a good low-carb support board. And, all that will be after probably two weeks of just weaning myself onto food again with fresh and steamed veggies (maybe fruits???)
The BMI calculator is interesting too. I was quite shocked that a 40 pound lower weight would only require a 200 calorie reduction to maintain over a higher body weight. What I'm a little dubious about though is this: Doesn't this assume that you have the same body composition at both weights? Clearly that would not be the case. Or does it assume average body compositions at those height-weight combinations? Interesting, in any case.
