follow-up / details regarding my prior post
My daily food prior to getting pregnant (and during and after) was/is:
Green goo (7 cups worth but 4 cups of it is filtered water) every morning at 6 am for breakfast. I usually skipped it on one weekend day just to give my body a rest and to break the monotony.
Natalie's Green Goo
All ingredients should be raw and, if possible, organic
Start with an empty blender and add
8
oz Knudsen's Organic Tomato Juice
2 rounded TBS Dr Schulze's Super Food
3 shakes Cayanne pepper (we ARE right next to Mexico)
1 1-inch piece of raw ginger
1 medium clove of raw garlic
2 TBS organic olive oil
Blend on Liquify and leave it on while adding other ingredients
2 cups filtered water
3 medium raw carrots
3 cups raw kale (3 or 4 big leaves)
3 cups raw chard (3 or 4 big leaves)
(sometimes I throw in a radish or two or some zuccinni)
2 more cups filtered water and some ice cubes
Using these quantities you'll end up with 7 cups of liquid
It's easiest to drink it with a straw.
One liter of water between breakfast & lunch (always filtered).
I'd get hungry around 11 so I have a 1/2 of a protein bar (either Clif or Kashi).
Lunch is always a bowl of organic cereal (Organic Golden Flax Crunch) with soy milk.
Another liter of water.
The other 1/2 of the protein bar or some organic baby carrots or organic corn chips.
Almost all of another liter of water before leaving work for the day.
Dinner tended to be a free for all but always as organic as possible - a can of vegetarian refried beans w/ organic sour cream and green sauce, or organic spaghettiOs, or ramen with organic frozen veggies added, or just snacking on 1/2 a bag of shelled fresh/frozen soybeans, or a tub of organic tofu covered with organic soy sauce and oyster and chili sauce, or vegetarian chili.
If I wanted a sweet snack I would have some low fat organic Fig Newman's or drink some vanilla or chocolate soy milk.
Oh and liter of water during the night. Yes it's a lot of water and yes you end up peeing a lot but 1) not as much as you would think, and 2) it flushes out all of your filtering organs (kidneys and liver) all the time to clean them and keep them that way.
I also took 1 to 3 dropperfuls daily of HerbPharm's Helonius Viburnum to keep my cycle regular.
Some women, so I've read, develop antibodies to their husband's semen in their 'juices' so they advise that until you are actually trying to get pregnant you should use a condom to lower your immunity.
