Hi Dr Vinograd,
I was hoping that you can help me with my problem. I have 2 very large uterine fibroids which cause me extreme pain accompanied by vomiting. I have had them for over 5 years but only in the last 2 years has the pain become worse. I been using progesteron cream, supplements such as Femagen, 123, vit A, B, C, multi vitamin, EPO, Flax, and other homeopathic remedies. I'm afraid my last option now is surgery. I don't qualify for a laproscopy because of the size of them. My options are to have a myomectomy or uterine fibroid embolization procedure. Both have risks. I am 41 years old.
Do you have any recommendations and/or advice

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, I am not a very good candidate for a hysterectomy. Even my GP/GYN was against it. I'd be rushed in premature menopause. I am only 90 pds (on my good days)......I'm very thin. I try to get as much calcium, vit D and magnesium as I can. But the calcium is the tough one. I am lactose intolerant and even too much magnesium keeps by bowels busy. Even just having my uterus removed will through me into premature menopause. So, I guess I am damned if I do and damned if I don't.

MoreThis is a reply to # 656,403Shanti, if your uterus is removed it will not throw you into premature menopause. That will only happen if your ovaries are removed also. I felt so much better after my hyeterectomy because I was not hemmorhaging every month. I was very anemic because of that, and now my blood counts are normal again. I would get a second opinion.

Wormwood, Clove, Clarkia, Turmeric, Epsom Salt, Uva Ursi, Goldenrod
I would consider, after clearing it with my doctor, using proteolitic enzymes such as VitalZym or Vitalzym plus (the plus version if you tend to be more on the constipated side) They have a tendency to help brake up fibrous and scar tissue.

I'm in Mumbai India. I have never bought anything online before. Please tell me from which site to order Vitalzym. A site which has a secure payment gateway. Where did you order Vitalzym from. I am 49 years old and have never married. I have been diagnosed with multiple fibroids but I don't want to have a hysterectomy.
