I do think you have to be more careful with the elderly, particularly if they have not done much previously in the way of cleansing or are taking a lot of medications. That's why I'm not recommending this for my dad, with his many health issues and long list of pharmaceuticals.
The stuck stone thing scared me before I started flushing, but just this morning after my third flush, I passed a stone the size of a grape - bigger than the size of a bile duct, from what I've read. I went to the hospital about six years ago with what I know was a gallbladder attack of some sort, but they never found any stones or anything on ultrasound. I haven't had any severe pain since then, but could tell I had blockage and congestion. Anyway, I wonder if she could have dislodged that larger stone with an immediate repeat flush. Certain herbs, phosphoric acid and malic acid are also good for softening stones pre-flush.
