you are probably right. i guess i just try to get a certain amount of pleasure out of eat meal, and its a little tricky with the kefir. what i had been doing was putting romaine or
Celery into my food processor to chop it up. then mixing that with my kefir and adding herbs like rosemary, basil, thyme. something like a cream of
Celery soup i guess? it was rather pleasant.
or, if my kefir separates alot so that the whey will strain right out and leave behind a thick 'cheese' i can just drink the whey, then mix the cheese with herbs and eat that alone which is excellent and a little sweet! much like cottage cheese
the kefir alone in a uniform consistency like a watery yogurt is alright. kind of sour a little. i've tried adding cinnamon and cardamom, but didnt even really like that much, tasted kind of 'forced'. it doesnt even taste all that great when i added a pint of blended strawberries! i'm sure a real kefir smoothie with bananas and other fruits would be amazing, but thats far from a good digestive combination.
