I would like to suggest that all religious Debate Forums be cancelled! I believe they are devisive and non productive! Support is fine and can be considered healthful and helpful but religious debate is a misnomer I believe and leads to nothing but arguing and a distaste for each other!Grog- Re: religious debate? rudenski

MoreThis is a reply to # 607,310I believe that there have been wonderful explorations of different religious perspectives in the Religious Debate Forums but there are some who have turned debates into a series of barbed comments toward one another. Maybe you are right about cancelling the religious Debate Forums though? We can all go back to our corners and shut off the dialouge and learn nothing from one another about our varying perspectives? I know I have been growing spiritually because of the religious Debate Forums but you have to be thick skinned to not be offended from time to time. Maybe we could consider changing the forum's names to Religious Discussion Forums and state in the guidelines that negative comments must not be directed toward an individual or another religion that will be taken as offensive? This might relieve the current problems occuring in the religious debate forums? My opinion but doesn't religious discussion have a better ring to it?

There seems to be plenty of oppotunity in all the other support/discussion forums! I believe just changing the names of the Debate Forums would acomplish little and we all know more rulea have to be impartially decided by someone who my not be! I dont think these debat forums accomplish anything that cannot be done on many of the other support/dicussion forums! Gog

This is a reply to # 607,315If you know a leetle about me then you know that Yahshua really rocks my world and I just would not feel real comfortable quoting scripture in the conscious expansion or Spirituality Forum . I love the Bible and it has the story of my God(Yah) and Jesus(Yahshua) in it and that really makes me who I am. I way understate that feeling in every other forum but religious Debate Forums because I don't feel it is appropriate to fully express myself in other forums. In the Christian Support Forum I am considered the father of lies by some and a brother by others so I only mildly state my spiritual views there. Where am I to go but to a religious discussion forum to fully state my view? Anyway, the curezone should find a way to keep the posters in religious forums from attacking one another's religions and each other with the type of nastiness that is currently the trend. One day we will all know... after the last hour...
It is funny or what but this post posted in another forum even though I intended to post it here...hehehe

We are all spiritual creatures(forgive me atheists) and I believe that our spiritual condition and physical condition are closely linked. Consider the power of prayer as evidence that healing can be done from a distance. While scripture in not necessary for prayer, it sure helps. I whave tried to run away from the CureZone before but I have so many friends here that I would miss terribly if I did leave. Anyway, CureZone is my place for emotional, spiritual, & physical healing so unless they ban me I will try to stick around as long as I can...- Re: religious debate? Grog

This is a reply to # 607,319Health for me includes body...mind..and spirit. I also think that to solve a problem (any problem)we must be expansive (creative) in our thought. Being contractive is unhealthy. Curezone has never "axed" a forum. I hope they don't start now. A solution exists. Lets open our minds wide to find it.
I personally think thast the best solution is to have a testemonials forum. That way if someone abuses the other forums with repetitive testimonials (obviously not meant for topic discussions or debates but for 'witnessing") the spam can be removed to the apropriate forum.

Why is there a need for the podium type atmosphere of sounding off beneficial to spiritual well being! If something is good you use it if not you get rid of it! Why should there be a forum that is so open to abuse, a forum that allows someone to try to discredit other peoples belief systems? I don't, once again see how this is healthy!Grog

I disagree with the constant expansionist policies espoused by some on curezone. (Lapis!)
Eventually we'll have so many forums that you'll never ever meet anyone with a different point of view! It'll just be you all by your lonesome yourself.
Why not have a Johnny Vegas forum?
The fact is that expansion can not exist without contraction. We live in a universe which is part of a fundamental duality - the masculine and the feminine, the yin and the yang, the waxing and the waning, and yes the expansion and the contraction.
Cosmologists tell us that even though the universe is currently expanding, one day it will stop and fall back in on itself. Contraction will follow expansion!!! One day we'll all be part of the big crunch.
Even the human brain operates on the principle of contraction. Children are born with an incredibly dense network of neuronal connections which get "pruned" away at a certain age. Vast networks are cut-off - not because of brain damage, but this is how the brain naturally grows and matures.
So I put it to you fellow curezoners that expansion is not the way forward. We must resolve our differences, put aside our petty squables and learn to live with eachother!!! The world is a small place - and its getting smaller. Contraction!
In real life if you disagree with your neighbour you can't just start your own neighbourhood. Why should it be that way on curezone?
What say you?

When we begin the breathing out phase(contraction) then curezone will disappear altogether. *poof*
Escoteric interpretations aside, are you suggesting new rules in forums...and whose rules should apply? Who is at that unique universal center to make *that* decision? Or, are you suggesting something else?
As far as your own forum goes. Ask. Others who have asked have gotten them.
As far as having a large number of forums for a large number of interests, what is wrong with that? Forums that don't take hold, wither away on their own and ones that generate interest flourish. Cicero wrote that in order to be truly free, man must become a slave to a set of laws. In other words accepting limitations can be liberating. I don't believe that limiting expansion limits potential - rather it guides the actualizing of potential along fruitful lines.
The human brain certainly doesn't think that pruning is a bad idea.
I agree that every ogranism/enterprise needs an initial period of expansion. But nature teaches us that must eventually be balanced by a period of contraction.
