RMD,
Those mercury poisoning symptoms that you describe seem a lot like mine. I'm definitely going to have the
Amalgam removed from my teeth. You know I'm not 100% sure this will heal my illness, but even if it only makes me feel a little better I'll be happy. You know I started taking those
parasite herbs again and got deathly sick, and I wasn't sure if it is was a herxheimer reaction or if it was just the viral/bacterial infection that was making me sick. I discontinued the
parasite herbs and began to feel better, so I'm thinking it was the herxheimer.
Herxheimer reactions (or ‘die-off’ reactions involving chills, fever, night sweats, muscle aches, joint pain, short term memory loss and fatigue or a general worsening of symptoms) usually occur for days to weeks due to release of bacterial cell wall degradation products and stimulation of interleukins or chemical messengers that cause worsening of some signs and symptoms.
If it was a herxheimer reaction, I am sort of happy about it because it makes me to believe that it was trying to kill the infection. If that's the case, I'll continue using those herbs until I'm well again. But, even it may take a long time perhaps weeks as stated above. The release of those toxins may have also caused my thyroid to activate, because I noticed my throat became sore as well, which didn't happen before. Everything seemed to activate including my allergies.
As for the hypothyroid, I took my temperature for the last 3 days about 20 readings and it is average 97.9. The average is 98.6 so it is low, but do you think it is very low? I never paid much attention to my temp until I found out about my thyroid problem.
Regards,
Joe
