Soups take your pick. avoid corn starch once again home made is the best! Of course I have always been able to find a little restaurant somewhere that can produce wonderful soups! And yes salads love'em use your imagination be creative a good way to consume healthy oils! Nut butter etc. also do wonders to a stalk of celery.Home made puddings and jellos with whipped creams sweetened with sylvia. Home made Icecream um um made with berries of your choice sylvia or on occasion raw honey the fat in the cream offsets the glycemic affect I also add raw egg from my backyard hens! HaagenDas' secret ingredient! The Atkins diet is very proactive and if you like to cook and goof around in the kitchen life can be a charm. All these things I've mentioned can be purchased in a good grocery store! And I have'nt even mentioned meats yet,pate jerky sardines and so on. Oh yah I almost forgot one of my most favorite quick snacks , the wonderfully deliscious "avacado" have to put that in my list! Finally drinks, the fine art of herbal teas a whole other world of flavours. And I must say apple cider vinegar,it has such a thirst quenching quality that I seldom drink water plain. 1 capful in an 8or10
