Hi Fiddler,
I don't think you should use ginger it could irritate your eczema.
I use
Epsom Salts and baking soda all the time in the tub.
Baking soda is very soothing to the skin and you may just want to try just using a cup or two of baking soda in a warm bath.
That is if you aren't able to tolerate hot water on your skin.
You may also want to try an oatmeal bath, it is very soothing for eczema and other skin rashes.
Just get cheesecloth and add a handful of oats to it, then tie it to the faucet in your tub and let the water run thru it and it will soften the water and help soothe your skin.
I also think you can buy oatmeal products to add to the water.
I believe Aveeno has a product that you can use.
I also use coarse salt in the tub when i don't have any
Epsom Salts .
It works well for relaxing the body.
Hope this helps
