I had a test done. Ordered by my M.D. who is a holistic doctor. She had the test done by Great Smokey Labs..The CDSA 2.0 Part of the test was for parasites. I have, according to the test besides dysbiosis and Pseudomonas auruginosa..a parasite called Blastocystis hominis..It says i have (many)

Several months after this test and some treatment with something called Tinidazole (European Flagyl) I ended up in the hospital with, after a CT scan ...diverticulitis of the sigmoid colon.

I have been having the (attacks) for awhile..they just got worse and fever started to appear with them.

I also have a primary Care Physician..first thing out of his mouth was..We will probably have to cut out part, or all of your colon..

Needless to say..i didn't go back to him..Now, after some more Antibiotics i do feel a (little) better, but i still get cramps, and gas, and generally just don't feel well on some days..and i can't seem to gain a pound..no matter what i eat...

Questions..I read that Blastocystis is very common in a lot of people. The primary care doc says the bacteria problem is just secondary to the diverticulitis..he just fluffed it off as nothing.

The holistic doc seems to want to concentrate on the bacteria, and parasite mostly. Along with a diet of no fresh fruits or veggies, (for now) nothing that comes out of a cow..generally nothing to irritate the bowel.She also wants me to take probotics. but they seem to give me problems...

Any suggestions?

I posted a reply earlier but it wasn't working right so here goes.....Before doing the parasite cleanse start with The Master Cleanse and the B&P's. After you get your bowels moving good (2-3 movements a day) then add the parasite cleanse. You want to get things moving so when you start killing the parasites you are eliminating them right away. This is a good order for cleanses and you can overlap them:

bowel cleanse
parasite cleanse
liver flush
then whatever else you want to do
