For fun I submitted the following to a Medical advisory board and paid $15.00 for the opinion of 3 doctors. I post it here for your entertainment. I plan to start flushing soon, so I am convinced. These answers just further convince me.
____
I have seen a lot of material on the internet about Liver/Gallbladder flush procedures. These involve Some combination of lemon juice/
Olive-Oil and Epson Salts. Recipes vary.
___
There are people who calim to ger rid of
Gallstones with this procedure. In fact some have had the stones passed laboratory tested and posted scanned version of the lab results stating they were indeed gallstones.
___
Does this procedure work? Is it true that the medical community has know about this for years, but would rather "sell" gallbladder operations than allowing the possibility of a natural cure?
1: I wouldn't trust this.
2: There are certainly claims of such procedures working. Any patient wishing to try them is certainly welcome to do so. There is no study showing the effectiveness of these procedures and there is no reason to suggest a scientific basis for success.
3: This does not work. The gallbladder contracts in response to meals particularly those high in fat. Occasionally, small stones will pass on their own if they are "squeezed out". This is not something that the medical community has tried to "keep quiet".
