Restrictions Following Gall Bladder ...

I had my gall bladder removed the "new way" Wednesday evening and when discharged Thursday, I received no post-op instructions at all and have not been able to reach the surgeon. As far as driving, showering, sex and diet are concerned what is a good rule of thumb? Also, I had a trip planned for this coming Tuesday for my Grandmother's 88th birthday. It is a two hour flight and a two hour drive from the airport to my hometown. Would it be advisable to go ahead and make the trip?- Re: Restrictions Following Gall Blad... Southern Belle

Your Dr. will need to advise you on traveling. It's so strange no one told you anything before you left the hospital. You can't even reach your Dr.!!! How absurd! I bet the hospital and your Dr. will be easy to reach when it's time for you or your insurance company to pay, though.
I hope you recover well from your surgery. But, one thing I am sure your Dr. failed to mention---- Gallstones are formed in your liver, so you will STILL have stones.
