I use the Sea Salt to take usage off the mineral cube. The Vitalizer has 3 cycle times ..... 9, 18 & 27 minutes. When you spin for 9 minutes, you've achieved about 80% efficiency concerning the hexagonal structuring. Spinning more has a greater effect on the pH and simply dissolves your mineral cube. For the sake of simply raising the pH, I put a pinch of Sea Salt into the water near the end of the spin cycle. It's a cost reduction approach to raising the pH. I like the water up around 7.5. Some like it higher. That's a personal choice. The cube is specifically comprised of structure making minerals, also, and it is not comprised of a full spectrum of minerals. There are structure making and structure breaking ions.

Much of my knowledge precedes my discovering the Vitalizer. I followed the story on hexagonal water well before I bought my unit. I would highly recommend the book, "The Water Puzzle and the Hexagonal Key". It will give you quite an insight to hex water, which primarily gets its qualities from its physical characteristics, lending itself to smaller cluster size and better delivery at the cellular level.
