Okay, I've read through some of these threads and I fall into a similar boat as many of these people but my case is slightly different. I smell like feces/bad B.O. almost all of the time, even after I shower. Now I believe that I'm responsible for my "condition" but that still doesn't help me cure it. The doctors don't quite know what's going on either.

All of my symptoms include: constipation, horrid feces smell during a bowel movement, aura of feces smell in general, inflamatory rectal pain, and abnormal stool color/texture.

About six months ago I stuck a pen in my rectum as a means of sexual stimulation. I didn't lose the pen inside or anything like that, I've heard of it happening before. Well, my rectum didn't start hurting untill the day after, in which I had slight inflamatory pain in the general rectal area, it is hard to pinpoint. I've had this pain consistently every day since it happened, it doesn't hurt too bad, it's simply noticeable.

I have also noticed a bad smell emanating from my rectum, it occurs even after I shower. The smell is similar to B.O. but a lot more offensive. The problem is, other people notice it too and I can't cover it up with deodorant. I've dropped out of school as a result. My bowel movements are also abnormally smelly and have strange form and texture.

I went to my primary care doctor and she referred me to a gastroenterologist. The gastroenterologist performed a flexible sigmoidoscopy and didn't notice anything. I went back and got a c-scan, all they noticed was that I was constipated. The gastroenterologist then refered me to a rectal surgeon. The surgeon seems to think that my hemoroids are the cause so I'm in the process of having them removed. The thing is, I've had two hemoroids removed and I've noticed no improvement. I honestly don't think hemoroids are to blame and I can't afford this many $20 co-pays. On the most recent visist I worked up the nerve to tell the surgeon that I stuck a pen in my rectum and that I believed it to be the cause of my problems. He just looked at me funny and tried to hurry me through the appointment.

I'm sorry if that story angered anbody who just happens to smell bad due to no fault of their own, but I really need help. If anybody has heard of or experienced similar problems, God knows I could use your input. I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS!! PLEASE!
