Amen to everhopeful. the finger prick testers are junk. i had bought one when i was first sick and my readings were fine even though i had all the symptoms of LBS and i later realized they are not worth anything. you have to go by symptoms and how you feel. i can certainly tell if i am anxious in corrolation to my eating habits, how often i eat, when i eat and what i eat. now that i realize this i am much better. Even in the Low blood
Sugar handbook, which is a great book written by a man who has hypolglycemia, it says the finger pricks are not always accurate for everyone. Especially for those of us with glandular disorders. The adrenals will never heal unless we balance our blood suagar as otherwise they are always overworked and in use. She said i needed to eat more fruit(ha ha) and vegetables. the panic and anxiety i was experiencing was due to my blood suagar and worse in the mornings due to the fact i had not eaten all night. i don't have them any more. it takes time to balance blood sugar, and that is why being consistent is sooo important. one mistake can set you back for days. once i learned all this and stopped eating fruit and ate regularly and understood my
food allergies , it is all coming together. you can't drink any juice, eat any sweets or fruit, and need to eat protein mixed with complex carbs. maybe even every 2 hours. being on this roller coaster weakens you and is not good for the baby because your body is so off kilter. leslie
