I just got some Isocort from my MD/Homeopath (he carried it!), after reading this forum and Dr. Lams thoughts on adrenal fatique, thanks to Peachtree! Question: Do you chew it, as they recommend on their website? Do you keep your dose low and use it subjectively, based on symptoms? I was going to keep it low (I am battling high cortisol, a sympathetic response, and a host of other symptoms, more than fatique)I think what they recommend may too much for most systems...it is a fine line. Dr. Lam was OK with it, as a short-trem support only, but making sure you support your system more naturally with other supportive supplements and life style changes, as well.
I went to my Homeopath and made a good case for adrenal support( as they and other organs are showing up very stressed with accupressure testing)...he has me on a couple of adrenal/cortisol homeopathic remedies and said to try the Isocort to try to control my immediate body's symptoms...he said the use of glandulars will help bump the system up if it is very low...I am beginning to agree and will also add in some pancreatin with my Vitalzym (enzymes) as I have blood
Sugar issues, etc. He also said, if you have high blood pressure, to monitor it with Isocort use, as it may increase it.
Hope this helps...I'll keep you informed of what I experience.
