Hi,
as promised, here is what I have so far for today, and I will update again tomorrow when I have a full day to give you.
7:30am: first urine pH = 5.9 , Saliva = 7.4
8:45am: second urine pH = 6.3
11:20am: urine pH = 6.5, 2 hr. post breakfast saliva pH=7.4
the first urination of the day has the collection of whatever built up durring the night, and is typically much more acidic, but I have noticed that it depends a great deal on what I had for dinner the night before. When I eat an overly acidifying dinner, the first urine is much more alkaline, once a while back even 8.0, indicating that I had shifted the balance in my digestive track. Overly alkaline urine is said to be a sign of your body over reacting to a spike in acidifying foods, and releasing a rush of alkaline stores. I hope this helps so far and I'll share more tomorrow or later today. Take care, Mike
