hmmm... four days doesn't sound good. Too many unknowns - best to err on the side of caution and make that appointment!
In the meantime, stop taking anything that thins the blood, such as ginger, aspirin, ginseng. Eat more dark, leafy greens or juice them with carrots so they taste better, and take Vitamin B supplements to help replace the blood loss. Folic Acid (a B vit) is essential to building healthy blood cells and much easier to digest than iron supplements.
