I have been passing those too. I eventually passed one with a rounder end and a pointy end and viola! it looked like a fluke-shaped thing. I have read that flukes don't always make it out intact, so my theory is that the corn-looking things are flukes ...

It would be kinda gross but we should all pool together our "diagnostic" observations/pictures for a reference for all to check out. I think it would be way more helpful for visitors to this board than the perfect looking specimins that most websites display.
