I kept trying flax seed oil and cottage cheese. It tasted good when I turned it into a custard or a mayonaise, and I always noted positive effects from the oil, but almost each time I got diarrhea from the milk product, the cottage cheese.
Several days ago I made a spinach salad, added about 1/2 a chopped chicken breast, and topped it with a salad dressing made of 2 tbs flax seed oil, an equal amount of cider vinegar, salt, and 2 cloved of garlic (which is high in sulphur). I tossed the salad and ate it, savoring every bite. NO DIARRHEA! Therefore I presume that leaky-gut problems were not activated.
My question is, does meat plus sulphur (the garlic) adequately potentiate the flax oil? I like the taste of the cottage cheese and flax oil mixtures, but I can't deal with the effects of malabsorption on a daily basis.
Thanks for your replies.
