Hi All!
Last nite I watched Salems Lot on TV, horror flick with vampires. Their fangs were more narrow than alot of other portrails I've seen. Guess that's why I dreamt of rattlers.
I know I felt something sharp on the back of my right calf and thought I'd been bitten. When I turned to look it was either a snake with its head blown off, or an electric cord with exposed wires which had poked me. Maybe the snake had exposed wires?
All I know is I wasn't bitten. Whew! There was a guy in my dream.
He and I both had rifles to shoot the snakes with. Seems like we
were competeing [shades of Annie Oakly]. Thats all I can recall

Sounds like this dream is about Kundalini energy.
The snake itself is symbolic of this energy and SO is electricity just like your exposed plug! (the chord could also represent the Spine with the energy running up through it unblocked) Perfect eh?
How are you chakras? How's your energy? Do you need at tune up? Or do you need to do something with your creative/sexual energy? If you're not having sex and not being creative then there is probably some blockage stagnancy there...Hmmmm...

Hmm...I found this and something struck me in regards to your dreams lately and Kundalini:

That ties your Line 3 telephone call!
Also..if you click on the link below, where I found that sentence, check out the pictures. It is so verrry 3! There are the 3 eyes (third eye in center represented by the woman's head) and the Sun and Moon and their rays descending to a point that suggests a triangle (3) and also the three main figures (Sun, Woman's Head, Moon)

Like...I'm thinking that it's wanting to get activated! I'm wondering why you and the male were shooting snakes? Perhaps your male energy needs an outlet? Maybe your dream is simply telling you that you have a lot of energy that you don't know what to do with...but you could funnel it into this...raising your Kundalini energy?

This is a reply to # 505,866Maybe this is entirely un-helpful, but I thought I'd throw it in. I really think the Kundalini interpretation is spot-on, but as a trained "yogi", this is what immediately sprung to mind. It strikes me as very interesting that you're seeing a snake and also an electrical cord....at many different levels.
There is an important system of philosophy in yoga called Advaita Vedanta or just Vedanta. An important tenet of it is called "Adhyaropa" or superimposition. Classically, we think we see a snake lying on the ground and feel fear, but it turns out to be just a rope.

This is a reply to # 505,863OK Guys, get this. On the day you answered this post, I had a phone consultation with an intuitive healer. Guess what he tells me? I have energy blockages in my spine. Notibly in my neck and lower back. Guess raising the snake will have to wait. Marj

OOoh that makes so much sense! The kundalini-snake energy messages you've been getting are trying to tell you that there are blockages and you have to do something to 'free' this sexual/creative/spiritual energy!
Lower back totally relates to the 2nd chakra (sexual/creative) and as you read on the Kundalini energy lies coiled at the base of the spine...when it is unawakened...
Throat chakra eh? I guess this relates to your expression (you've had dreams about this before as i recall...and the moral judgement thing...yelling at your father - that sort of stuff)...
