sorry, but i disagree with your information....anyone with liver disease that is beyond the point of regeneration is a canadite for a liver transplant...what makes hcv differ from any other kind of hepatitis? nothing.
i know many people who have gotten liver transplants, even partial ones for that matter...there is even a place that only transplants those with hcv, with hcv infected livers. if i were to die today, even though i had hcv, my liver can go to someone else, if they have my specific genotype.
the only reason why a person may not be a canadite for liver transplant if there are other organs that are severely damaged that would be needed for making it through surgery.
again, just because you have hcv has nothing to do with transplantability.
