Hi there...had to stop and take notice of your "antibodies" for hcv. The docs say you were just a carrier. I was wondering if you were taking any sort of vitamins/herbs at the time (they give false positives and interfere with other tests) or maybe your suspisions are correct. (such as the same with my tests and results and suspicions of my own accord)
I would do a repeat of the test, it never hurts to get a second one done. Labs are notorious for adding too much of that, or not enough of that....
Also, the concern really is the lymph nodes. There is a higher chance of lymphoma (non-hodgkins) in those who have HCV. You've been exposed and might of fought off the virus naturally, but it's still in the system.
Please dont take me as using scare tactics...I've been accused of it already. Im here to help and to educate in any way shape or form and I only speak of truth. It's so easy for someone to take emails/postings the wrong way. :o)
I too had lymph nodes that were swollen. Now that the hepc is no longer active they have gone away, but I am still getting tested for lymphoma. Never hurts to be more safe than sorry, especially after over 27 years of chronic hepatitis c!
