I have recently been treating
Gallstones and have taken a number of supplements to soften/dissolve them and to increase bile production/flow. A positive side-effect noticed is an increase in elimination of
Tapeworm fragments. So I decided to do some research and was suprised to learn how important bile production is to fight off
parasites and their eggs.
I'm guessing that someone like me (with liver toxicity, gallstones, congestion and what not in this area) could potentially be popping
parasite herbs, pumpkin seeds and pineapple to name a few, forever if I don't get the bile flowing properly. Since normal bile production digests foods and cleans the colon, it will make it a place unfavourable for the critters....
Besides gallstones, liver flukes can take up residence in the bile duct causing obstruction of bile flow too. So taking
parasite herbs to kill liver flukes in addition to gallstone treatment seems important also. Gotto get the bile flowing to kill the
parasites in the digestive tract.....Just a few thougths anyhow : )
"Chinese medicine relies on bitter herbs to stimulate the liver to produce more bile. One theory is that it is the bile that kills intestinal parasites, not the toxic properties of the herbs."
