Why are humans not taking Diatomaceous Earth as an intestinal parasite cleanser? This has been used in the feed of farm animals for ages. It is my understanding that calcined, or heated, Diatomaceous Earth, as that mined in Sweden, is not "natural" and reacts harshly like crystalline silica, unlike the "organic" silica product which is raw Diatomaceous Earth. Any clues here? Any info? Thanks.
I think there is a product that I was taking for candida called "K-min" that I got from my nutritionist whom I'm no longer with. I believe this is what you may be talking aobut, the problem is I can't find it anywhere else!!! I contacted one company that sells "K-min" to confirm it was the same thing and they never got back to me.
The ingredients in the K-MIN that I had were the bones & shells of microscopic sea creatures that would "pierce" the protective shell around candida so it could be more effectively elimintated. I found out later that it's usually used for parasites. I emailed the contact on that website about 3 weeks ago to find out if it was the same stuff I was taking and he never got back to me.
I have no idea, like I said, they never responded to my email so unless I'm force to I won't purchase from the company, but there is a phone number on the site, perhaps if you call you'll have better luck than I did.
Personally I have never taken diatomaceous earth, so I cannot any personal experience.
BUT, I do know of a family that feeds food-grade diatomaceous earth to themselves (as well as to their animals) to kill parasites. They also sell the stuff. A link to their website is included with this message.
