They are giving people whipworms to counteract autoimmune diseases and they say the worms have no ill effects. Pig whipworms, that is.
"And one-third of the world's population is walking around with them in their GI tracts today and apparently having no problems."
Well, I guess they haven't met us, now have they. Geez, I've heard it all now.

MoreThis is a reply to # 466,927I get the feeling that there is some sort of agenda afoot...
looking over history and current events, I think it is relatively easy to influence people using propaganda via mass advertisement. I think that denying parasites has failed and now they (?) are trying to convince people that some parasites are harmless.
I think that groups of people like us who come together sharing valuable, successful cures over the internet can remain relatively safe.

Finally caught up part 2 & 3 of this series over Christmas shown on the BBC(recorded it). Was so shocked at the concept

Well, I know what the worms have done to me and my little girl.
I do believe that we have always had worms but our immune systems were tough enough to withstand them and keep them in check. That's not the case anymore.

I were the doctor's wife, I would divorce him.
Would be curious to find out what the long range effects of this "worm therapy" are. Let's say seven to ten years from now. We will probably never hear...
