Okra pepsin E3 is there a vegan alte...

I'd love to try it, as I suspect my poor assimilation issues are to do with small intestine congestion. The product info says that it contains bovine pepsin though, and the only other similar product that I found (Natures' Sunshine small intestine detox with marshmallow and pepsin) does too - plus the gelcaps contain gelatin (not sure if the Okra pepsin comes in gelcaps).
So, is there a vegan product that would do a similar job?

MoreThis is a reply to # 466,062My guess is that the so-called "colon-cleansing" products cleanse the small intestine as well. In fact, I suspect that most of the mucoid plaque or old mucoid matter that comes out originates in the small intestine rather than the colon. That would explain the fact that MD's who do colonoscopies see pink tissue rather than black gunk lining the colon. I have no proof of that and would be glad to hear a different point of view, but as of now that's my working theory.
I've personally had good results with Holistic Horizons, but people seem to have excellent results with drnatura, ultimate cleanse, P&B shakes, etc. My colon hydrotherapist, who is very well-informed and passionate about cleansing, loves the Ejuva program. I believe all the above are vegan products. I haven't seen much evidence that homozone and that sort of product clean out old mucoid matter.

This is a reply to # 523,165The enzyme is used for people who are transitioning and has been proven to work. It is fast and effective. For people who are already on clean diets and do not have lots of cleansing work to do, there are other (vegan) options.
When someone as esteemed as Kelley says that this is the one thing he would utilize in all cases to get the most health recovery, over an above other means, it must be seen as a powerful statement.
I would love to see a vegan alternative, but until such a time, I would recommend this as a transitioning, highly cleansing, quick method that gets results.
People who have eaten herds of cattle all ther lives and all the by products, as well as tons of glutenous grains, have glued up their systems. The small intestine must be exposed, and in some cases, exposed quickly, so that nutrients can be assimilated. The last cow's enzymes used on a transitioning person, could be seen as a powerful method to leave behind the world of blood sacrifice altogether. ;-)
There is definately a market for an okra/vegan enzyme that WORKS well.

This is a reply to # 484,105A product like Okra pepsin E3 has a different approach from colon cleansers like fiber based or magnesium ones.
Okra pepsin seems to be a very gradual approach to bowel cleanse, and takes advantages of the mucillageneous properties of Okra and pepsin to slowly digest mucous buildup. okra is used to coat and dispense enzymes like pepsin on the mucous build up and through continuous deposition you will slowly erode the mucous.
I have not seen a testinomial here at curezone that describes experiences with the product. Okra pepsin E3 and all standard process products are generally kept away from the public eye and is theoretically only available to practitioners. Through the teachings of Dr Kelley we are becoming aware of this product.
I'm currently taking a different version called gastrex (similar to okra pepsin E3 but is more of a whole digestive cleanse).
Standard process products rely heavily on animal glandular extracts, known for their abilities to provide specific nutrition in a form that is readily recognizable with all the cofactors to allow for good absorbance.
Okra pepsin E3 contains orchic extracts which may or may not play a big role on the actual cleansing properties of the product (my guess is more of a nutrient addition).
I may be wrong but I thought pepsin was derived from animal sources - this enzyme and mucillage from things like okra, marshmallow, comfrey seem to be the key players in this product.
Perhaps a good combination of vegetarian enzymes along with mucillage may have similar benefits.
I currently take gastrex along with vitalzym and pancreatic enzymes (animal derived).

This is a reply to # 530,375Maybe if you ate okra and took pepsin supplements at the same time, it would have the same effect. Last night I ate a lot of okra and took a pancreatin supplement (not sure if it contains pepsin). A few hours later I started passing the smelliest farts ever! It's been years since that happened.
Not sure what that means, but there you have it.

I seem to be unable to order the okra pepsin at a reasonable cost at my present location.
I was just at the grocery store and bought some fresh okra. I cut some up and added some raw apple cider vinegar, olive oil, and Sea Salt . It was actually really good.
If I do this every day, will it help cleanse my small intestine?

I'm always confused when someone who is so respected as a natural health doctor and has helped many people dies so young of unnatural causes. Shouldn't someone who has found a way to stay healthy live a long life? I'm confused?

This is a reply to # 600,191Read up on Kelley and you'll see how he *likely* died. He was posioned in the past as well as harassed in all kinds of ways. He even had a famous patient murdered because the medical establsihment couldn;t have that kind of endorsement reach a vast public all at once.
Ann Wigmore died in a mysterious fire in her healing Center. Many healers seem to have mysterious or untimely deaths.
Others do time in jail such as Dr. Hamer.
There are extreme risks for bringing healing to the world while the foxes gaurd the henhouse.
Anyone that threatens the established global elite is dealt with in a myriad of ways.

This is a reply to # 600,191There are really two Dr. Kelleys. One is the brilliant, dynamic Kelley of the seventies who was curing cancer patients left and right. The other is the broken-down-shell-of-his-former-self Kelley of the nineties who spent his days churning out the most vicious anti-semitic literature you can imagine and drinking coca cola by the gallon, claiming it was a marvelous health tonic.

I thought it was interesting that you mentioned that Dr. Wigmore died of a mysterious fire, because I was thinking the same thing myself. Why are all these wonderful natural healers dieing in accidents. Of course I knew about the government murdering people and jailing them to shut them up, so I was thinking that that's probably what they did to Ann Wigmore. Dr. Paul Bragg is another one with a mysterious death. I doubt he really did accidently drown. Sounds very suspicious.
I also read that the original founder of diesel cars designed them to run off vegetable oil. And then he was found dead in a lake. The new owner had them made to run off of petroleum. It's obvious what happened. It's just disgusting the greed of so many people! Turns out many new technologies have been actively suppressed, and the designers have been murdered, all because somebody would have lost money. This is why I don't believe everything happens for a reason. I just can't see it. Well, I'm gonna do everything I can to make a difference. Wish me luck!
