This has been debated over and over and over and over and over and over again.
It is easy to understand why you feel as you feel...but you obviously have not seen any true mucoid plaque.
It's rubbery, it's dark/black, it reeks, and there's no mistaking it for psyllium and
Bentonite once you've seen it and smelled it.
The P & B shakes you took, did not dehydrate like what you put in a glass of water and allowed to dry out...it never saw the light of day (nor the air) when it was in your body. Take some psyllium & bentonite, mix it with water, then mix that mixture with the same amount of water that you drank when you took it...then with the pulverized food you ate and the more water you drank. Then put it in an airtight containter for several hours...and when you open it, you will not see "mucoid plaque" you will see the same basic muddy mixture that you drank (except the psyllium will have swollen and absorbed some of the water).
If want you saw in your stool, was the same color as
Bentonite and psyllium, you are right...it wasn't mucoid plaque. Sometimes people have to use knives to cut a mucoid plaque rope; it won't re-dissolve in water. Check your concoction...can you dissolve it in water? If so, it's not mucoid plaque.
Just because
Bentonite and psyllium can/will form into lengths of fibrous stuff in your intestines and come out looking like the shape of your colon, doesn't mean there isn't such a thing as mucoid plaque. What it does mean, however, is that you're not drinking NEARLY enough water with your P&B shakes.
Your concern is wise; your checking and looking and analyzing is a great asset for your health! You should always seek the truth and questions what others say. In this particular case, you've stumbled upon something that thousands of others have found. Just stay the course, and sooner or later you'll more than likely see some of the real stuff...and when you do, you'll really KNOW.
