Hi:
While I've been browsing this forum for months, I'm a brand new user on this forum so "Hi from New York City!!!"
I'm on my second month of the Colonix program and I was also concerned about the post you're referring to.
I think that using the tea (that has senna in it) is okay for 3 months at a time.
The people who make Colonix recommend that you don't use it again after the 3 month period until your next yearly cleanse, if you decide to do it again. And that should only be for one month.
However, some customers report drinking it on occasion after the initial cleanse. My feeling is once a month but no more than that after your 3 month foray.
Also, to clarify to others about the dietary requirements: They don't advise you to change your diet or to fast specifically, but really enforce drinking a lot of water (at least 32
ounces a day).
However, my personal experience has been that using the Colonix program pushes you into eating properly. Two weeks into the program, I decided to have a burger (I was a huge red meat eater) and it actually made me sick! So, no more red meat! I now use organic vegetables only, eat bran cereal (All Bran or Kashi/one cup a day),two scoops of the fiber/herbal blend Colonix uses and I drink more fruit juices (I have a severe allergy to the rind and skin of fruit). I only eat fish and poultry now and not a lot of that. I read that rice actually can constipate you, so I've reduced my intake of that and have a diminished desire for chocolate (which I thought would never ever happen as I LOVE chocolate). I don't eat a lot of potatoes anymore, My meals are mostly vegetables, fish....but I feel really, really great.
And don't even want to discuss what's been leaving my body. If we only knew what we had inside of us(YUCK!!!). Everytime I think I can't expel anything else weird--it just gets weirder and stranger than ever!!! Colonix really, really works! I can't wait to complete my third month.
Anyway, I don't know where you're from but if you're in the New York City area, Whole Foods is a great supermarket that carries both organic and conventional vegetables and fruits. I think they have stores across the US (not sure about anywhere else thought).
I hope my first post (anywhere on the net) was helpful to those looking into the Colonix Program.
Take Care!
