I've used Ozone for a long time with no problems along with my mother also all we've had is benefits along with many others such as Golfegg who cured his wife with Ozone twice of Cancer.

There was a FOOL at my old place of work who played around with Chemistry a lot. When I told him I was drinking Ozone I got the speel about it destroys plastic and rubber blah blah. Can you explain this more? Dr. Pressman says you can't put ozone in the eye. I've accidently got it in my eyes and they were red for days, so I stopped getting it any where near the eyes. I've read studies about putting ozonated water in the eyes this weekend, so I'm wondering about all this. I'm 51 and getting to the point of needing glasses. So I would love to treat my eyes some who.
Does she funnel her eyes, or use ozonated water. How long does she do it? What does thr trmpreture have to do with it? Any more info. would be great!

Thanks for all your info & help. I have early stage emphysema, not cancer. My lungs are my hubby's major concern, as they are mine. He was mostly mad that I ordered without discussing it with him! He pays scant attention to all my "research", so didn't have the info I had found here & other sites - just saw the EPA paper & all the NEGATIVES about ozone. He now says it is my decision, but for any major $$$ purchases we do normally make them together...my bad!

I do believe that ozone is beneficial, that is why I finally placed my order for both machines - even though I also had to cancel them :-( for the time being. Waiting to be sure really doesn't bother me that much, just disappointed because I THOUGHT I had done enough research!

If I am understanding Dr. Saul correctly, he is saying breathing ozone for emphysema is NOT beneficial...what is, would be funneling from a medical grade ozone machine with oxygen as feed gas. NO WAY can I afford that machine at this time. At the rate that I can "save up" for it, it will be 2 yrs. down the road before I can buy it!

I also live in very humid FL, so his observation on a "regular [cheaper?!]" corona discharge machine, gives me pause....I can see using it in the fashion he mentions for "cleaning" when I'm not there; but my intended use was to breathe the ozonated air! I'm sure general air "cleaning" will be good for me, but is that alone worth buying the machine for? Would my money be better spent on an aranizer or good air cleaner?

On the herbal remedies site I belong to, the Dr. who has the site [he also lives in FL] says the ozone machine is O.K. but to be sure to get one that ionizes the air also. He did not comment on the water ozonator. So...as usual I'm just getting more confused! :-)

Ozone is produced constantly in the upper atmosphere at the 20 - 30 km
region, as long as the sun is shining, and since ozone is heavier than air,
it begins to fall earthward. As it falls, it combines with any pollutant it
contacts, cleaning the air - nature's wonderful self-cleaning system.
Ozone is also created by lightning, and the amount produced in an average
storm is often triple the allowable limit of .015 PPM as set by the US EPA.
This ozone is what gives the air the wonderful fresh smell after a rain, and
is of the highest benefit to anyone fortunate enough to be breathing it.

The exhaust pollutants caused by burning hydrocarbons in oxygen in the
internal combustion engine are mainly carbon monoxide, nitric oxide, and
sulphur dioxide. Ozone cannot be produced in the internal combustion engine
because the hydrocarbon fuel quenches the spark gap. Ozone has been
incorrectly blamed for smog. Carbon monoxide, a deadly poison, is present in
smog at about 3000 parts per hundred million. Toxic hydrocarbons are present
in smog at about 100 parts per hundred million. Ozone is present in smog
only transiently at around 25 parts per hundred million. Ozone in smog is
produced by the photoelectric effect of the sun's energetic photons acting
on polluting gases. Singlet oxygen is broken off these gases momentarily,
but in seconds it reattaches itself to the other gases, which is part of
nature's system for cleaning the atmosphere. The problem is not one of too
much ozone in smog, but not enough. If sufficient amounts existed, the
pollutants would all be oxidized and rendered harmless.

Any corona discharge ozone generator will make nitric oxide in air. The
question is one of degree. The drier the air, the less of a problem.
Industrial corona discharge generators are often fed air after it has been
super dried.
If you live in Albuquerque, no problem. If you live in Miami, big problem.

If the corona discharge generator is controlled by a timer, then it can be
run when you are not there. The harmful products will dissipate, especially
if you have a window open with a fan blowing out.

An approved medical modality would have to have a level of safety that would
allow the majority of people to do it without problems. Breathing of raw
ozone gas is not in this category and never will be, regardless of thousands
of testimonials, because there are thousands more people who will have a
definite problem with it. If you don't have a problem, great. But you are
doing self-experimentation, and any consequences that result may be not what
you had been led to believe by reading the testimonials. If you have COPD, I
am very sure you will not like the results. MY NOTE - [DIDN'T LIKE THE SOUND OF THIS AT ALL - PARTICULARLY COMING FROM A "BELIEVER" IN OZONATING!!!]

It is the poor quality of the feed gas (air) that combines with the nitric
oxide-producing tendencies of corona discharge generators (especially with
humid air) that causes the problem.

Our generators are designed to be run from an oxygen source, either tank or
concentrator, never room air. If they were run on room air, the tube would
eventually become coated with the grunge that is in the atmosphere, and
cease working.

1) Drinking ozonated water made by a medical ozone generator supplied with
pure oxygen feed will be very beneficial. Drinking water made with a low
grade air fed generator will generally not have much effect, because it is
too weak.

2) Each day the human body inhales 800 liters of oxygen, on average. The
minute amount of oxygen that can be in any liquid product pales in
comparison. And oxygen administered by IV in clinical trials in fairly large
doses has always shown to be without therapeutic effect.
