I've just started my first cleansing program. I want to know what everyone thinks about reinfestation. I have read of the many ways we become infested and can't see living in such a way to avoid all of it. Do you just go through this cleansing a couple of times a year because reinfestation is inevitible? I have read that you should have all family members and pets go through it at the same time, is that necessary? My husband is skeptical about it. I think once he sees what my body is passing he might change his mind. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

MoreThis is a reply to # 440,518the parasite cleanse to me is just a part of a bigger cleanse. so the way i see it is:
when you paracleanse, then clean the bowels of the debris that have collected for many years and the critters like to make home of, clean your liver and gallbladder so the bile is flowing properly and lubricating intestines so waste does not collect in there (and make a home for them again!)and healthy bacteria can grow there, and the stomach acid is restored to normal...then with a healthy Diet low in sugars and junk the body will not get reinfested as bad as it was when you first cleansed. our bodies have a natural healing and parasite cleansing mechanism (friendly bacteria and hydrochloric acid in the gut) when they are healthy and can deal with most toxins and pests.
a regular maintenace dose plus a cleanse once a year is what i'm plannig on doing to help upkeep my cleanse and health!

To prevent reinfestation, do you do the suggested under-the-fingernails steralization by mixing water and vodka? How can you help but not put your fingers in your mouth, like when you floss. Also, how do you not recontaminate yourself when your hands come into contact with food?

This is a reply to # 440,523lol...no i'm not hard core. i don't do that. but i do believe that if your body is working 100% then you should have no problem killing off pests and diseases with a little help here and there...that would be a maintenace dose, or a cleanse once or twice a year...it all depends on the individual i guess. :-)
and we are here on this planet interwoven with other life...so you can't just stick yourself in a bubble and hide from pests. i think that way you may actually grow less resistant to everything around you. i believe our immunity does build up by exposure!- Re: Reinfestation? Alex

from personal experience i would do a parasite cleanse first with a Bowel Cleanse at the same time - going on the shakes gradually so you don't get backed up. i did my Liver Flush after first month of the parasite cleanse and it released a lot of worms. but we are all different so if you suspect your bowels aren't working well then i'd start there. either one will do!
for me experimenting has been a big part of all this...same with reading these forums and finding out new bits and pieces of the puzzle each week as i cleanse. so after a while your own rhythm of the cleanse and routine will develop...trial and error is required...have fun and do keep us posted!
ps - i don't know much about colon hydrotherapy but you may ask ptree or just do a search on this site.
