The major problem I had at the onset of candida was severe constipation. I was so impacted it hurt to sit down. I started myself on enemas because I just didn't know what else to do; I had no knowledge of candidiasis. I heard of a doctor in town who practiced natural therapies and she was the one who diagnosed candida. I was on the diet for almost 10 years along with some supplements that were all I could find on the store shelf. We moved to another city where alternative health and healing are so much more available. I went to one doctor here for the constipation and chronic muscle pain I was experiencing. She tested me for parasites, but unfortunately it was the standard stool test that most doctors use and did not show anything. But it made me think back to the many reasons why I could have parasites. I was raised on a ranch and we drank well water, plus we also butchered our own meat (still do). Exposure to animal feces was constant. I felt that this lifestyle really made me a strong candidate, although I do know how we all probably have parasites anyway. I've been slow to respond to almost every treatment I've used - thick skin I guess:) So all these years I have just been reading and researching everything I could get my hands on. I went to an acupuncture clinic a couple of years ago for abdominal pain which seemed to occur after meals. They gave me some roots and herbs to make a tea out of- it was gross, bitter and like drinking silt, but guess what? The pain was gone and I no longer had the bloating. After this I was able to find a product by VAXA for candida that just seemed to wipe it out. I still have reoccurences when I get run down, stressed out, etc. but not to the extent that I had before. The Liver Cleanses have been especially helpful in relieving all the back pain I used to experience. I spent so much money on chiropractors I should have bought stock! I still have a long way to go but I've seen more results from following this Forum than anything else. Also, I'm not following the Clark protocal, I'm just using the Wormwood , clove, and Black-Walnut tinctures that I buy locally and I've tried the Cq10, but realized afterwards that I hadn't taken the 3-4000 mg recommended. I was having a candida day I guess, I only took 1300 mg. with no results (of course). I'll try again later.

I really bless the day I found this site. It is so encouraging to know that others are experiencing the same problems and we are able to share what works for us.
